SUSAN NOYES

Susan Noyes is a ceramicist who resides with her husband in Dallas, Texas.  Her two daughters, Alice and Catherine are as creative and free-spirited as their mother.  As a life-long artist, Susan extends beyond mediums to incorporate her love for nature and landscaping.

CINDY SWANSON

Cindy Swanson’s passion for mosaics is evident in the details of her original works.  All of her glass is hand cut and meticulously selected for color, shape and brilliance in the design of each piece.  Cindy was introduced to mosaics in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but her fascination for the medium took her twice to Italy to study at the Scuola Mosaico in Ravenna and the Orsoni Glass Studio in Venice.  Much of her glass tile is imported from Italy, which she artfully blends with ceramic tiles, pottery shards, molded glass, gold-leaf smalti, glitter babies and glass beads in the creation of her work.

CELESTE VAUGHT

Born in Oklahoma, Celeste is a passionate "explorer"--her curiosity resonates in her paintings. Her mediums of choice: acrylics and oils. Celeste enjoys using various techniques while striving to stay true to her painterly, colorful style. "Through my art, I seek to stimulate the childlike fascination of discovery and appreciation of our natural world. My goal is to 'say' just enough with the brush to engage the imagination of the viewer." Artists who've influenced her are: Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, Georgia O'Keefe, Edward Hopper, N.C. Wyeth to name a few.

From a family of artists and musicians, Celeste has created award-winning artwork since childhood. After years of casual, sporatic attention to her art interests, in 2006 she entered an art competition. An award in that competition sparked a creative fuel that's lead to amazing experiences! In 2007 her painting "Daffodils" was the cover illustration of a fundraising for the Marie Curie Cancer Care Organization in the United Kingdom and was auctioned during their "2008 Private View of the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition" in London. During 2007, Celeste served as a guide in the Acrylics Forum of the very popular online international art forum www.wetcanvas.com owned by F & W Publications. She was awarded "Best of Show" in the 2008 Utica Square "Art in the Square" show in Tulsa. She is a member of Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition.

Celeste's painting "Morning at Phoenix Cleaners" was accepted into Gilcrease Museum's "2009 American Art in Miniature" juried exhibition and silent auction.

Celeste enjoys painting a wide variety of subjects from still lifes and abstracts to her very popular cityscapes. On the National Registry of Historic Places, Tulsa Deco architecture affords her endless subjects of simple beauty to explore. Whatever the subject, Celeste begins each painting focusing on fundamentals of strong composition and interesting color schemes.
